For the lease signing, I need:
  • Allow 20 minutes for signing the lease, visiting the premises and understanding how to enter;
  • My driver's license;
  • A padlock (we sell them at our offices);
  • A bill (Bell, Hydro-Québec, etc.) with your postal address and valid phone number;
  • Pay the first month's rent.

What size premises should I choose?
  • First, you need to try to accurately determine what you need to store.
  • Second, will you need to return multiple times and thus move around boxes or items already stored? This will require more free space to move around. Or do you simply need a space for storage, which will allow for more stacking and therefore a smaller space?
  • Make a list of everything you want to store.
  • If you have a house, don't forget the garage, the basement, the shed, outdoor items.
  • Estimate the number of boxes needed.
